This morning I was supposed to get up and meet CAR at the track for my first track workout back. But I didn’t do it.
In my defense, I’m not in track workout shape. I’m not 100% sure I should have been there–given the fact that I’m still running fewer than 20 miles a week. So how easy was it to talk myself into staying in bed this morning? It was so easy that I did it. (It was so easy it gives your mom tips? That’s all I got.)
I do miss my friends and my flat stomach, but I’m going to do this right. Which means I’ll be at the track workout in two weeks. Next week I’ll still be in Chicago!
